The head coach of the Black Queens of Ghana, Nora Hauptle, has emphasized the importance of scoring goals in the upcoming match against Zambia in the third qualification round for the 2024 Olympic Games.
After losing the first leg of the tie by a goal in Accra last week, Ghana is gearing up for the second leg scheduled to take place on Wednesday, February 28.
In a pre-match interview, Coach Nora Hauptle expressed confidence in her team’s strategy to defeat Zambia.
She stressed the significance of scoring goals as a vital factor in securing victory over the Copper Queens.
“I hope tomorrow’s game will showcase good football from our side. We have formulated plans for the match, focusing on stabilizing our performance and ensuring we find the back of the net. We are fully aware of the necessity to score, and that will be our primary objective on the pitch,” stated Black Queens coach Nora Hauptle.
The highly anticipated clash between Zambia and Ghana is set to kick off tomorrow at 4 pm.
