Arsenal Manager, Mikel Arteta, is banking on Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey to make a significant contribution to the team for the remainder of the football season.
After recovering from a five-month injury layoff, Partey returned to action for the Gunners on Monday night in their English Premier League clash against Sheffield United.
Coming on as a substitute in the 65th minute to replace Jorginho, Partey played a key role in helping Arsenal maintain control of the game until the final whistle.
Arteta expressed his satisfaction at having the midfielder back in the squad, stating, “We are happy to have Thomas Partey back with us. He is a talented player and we are hopeful that he will bring about positive change and make a significant impact.”
Arsenal showcased their quality in the match against Sheffield United, securing a convincing 6-0 victory at the end of the 90 minutes.
