Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara is calling for support from the fans as he looks to make a positive impact at the club this season.

The Ivorian coach has steered the Phobians to back-to-back victories in the Ghana Premier League since taking over the reins.

Despite conceding an early goal, the team displayed resilience and determination to secure a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Nsoatreman FC at the Nana Koramansah Park in the week 19 fixture on Sunday.

The hosts took the lead with Walid Neymah Fuseini’s strike in the 23rd minute, but Ouattara’s halftime adjustments proved crucial as Hearts of Oak came out stronger after the break.

Salifu Ibrahim’s shot took a deflection to find the back of the net, leveling the scores, before Ivorian forward Cisse Kassim scored a well-crafted goal eight minutes later.

“I thank the fans and I urge them to come out and support the team always. The team belongs to the supporters, not the board members or anyone else. With their support, I believe we can achieve great things. We need the backing of all the fans,” Ouattara stated.
