VIDEO: Richard Boadu scores screamer for Al Ahly Benghazi in a win against Al Tahaddi

Ghanaian midfielder Richard Boadu displayed a remarkable performance on Thursday as he scored a fantastic goal to help Al Ahly Benghazi secure a convincing 3-0 victory over Al Tahaddi in the Libyan Premier League.

After impressing in recent matches, the former Asante Kotoko midfielder has proven to be a key player for his new team.

Boadu featured prominently in his preferred midfield position during the clash between Al Ahly Benghazi and Al Tahaddi.

During the 13th round of the Libyan Premier League, the hosts took the lead just three minutes into the first half with a goal from Boubacar Traore.

Although the visitors hoped for a comeback in the second half, the early goal gave Al Ahly Benghazi the advantage going into halftime.

After the break, the home team had to work hard to maintain their lead until the dying moments of the match.

It was in the 88th minute that Richard Boadu, from Ghana, scored a spectacular goal to extend his team’s lead and secure a comfortable cushion.

In stoppage time, Hammadi Jadallah also found the back of the net, securing a 3-0 victory for Al Ahly Benghazi over Al Tahaddi.
