Ghanaian forward, Doris Boaduwaa is reaching out to the community for support as the Black Queens prepare to face the Copper Queens of Zambia.
The women’s national team of Ghana and Zambia will face off next week as part of the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.
Boaduwaa emphasized the importance of the support of Ghanaians in helping the team to victory against their opponent.
“I make a passionate appeal to all parents, brothers and sisters in the entire country. Please come to the Stadium on 23rd February to support the Black Queens so that we can keep our Olympics hope alive. I urge everyone to come support us to victory,” she said.
The first leg of the tie between Ghana and Zambia will take place on Friday, February 13.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 5 pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.
