Richard Ofori assures Ghanaians: “We will work harder to correct our mistakes”

Ghanaian goalkeeper, Richard Ofori, has taken to Instagram to apologize to Ghanaians for the disappointing performance of the Black Stars at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Ivory Coast.

Ofori expressed his heartfelt apologies to the people of Ghana, acknowledging that the team fell short and failed to achieve the desired results.

Despite giving their all in previous games, the Black Stars’ performance did not meet expectations and Ofori admitted that it was a painful realization.

However, the goalkeeper assured Ghanaians of the team’s commitment to learning from the experience and working harder to address their mistakes.

He also expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from the fans and promised to strive for a better outcome in the future.

Following Ghana’s exit from the tournament, Ofori has faced criticism from many Ghanaians for what has been described as a poor performance.
