Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo has expressed his excitement after signing a new contract with Elfsborg.
Baidoo, who has been with the Swedish top-flight football club for two years, is now set to stay with the team until the 2027 season.
“It’s a very good feeling! I’ve been here for two years now, and it feels great to sign an extension,” says Michael.
Since arriving from Norwegian outfit Sandnes Ulf in January 2022, the 24-year-old has been a standout player for the Yellow and Blacks.
With two impressive seasons under his belt, Baidoo has proven himself to be a key player for Elfsborg, showcasing his versatility and skills on the field. He has recorded an impressive 14 goals and 9 assists in 54 competitive matches during his time at the club.
In the recent Swedish league season, Michael Baidoo participated in 28 games, scoring 5 goals and providing 6 assists.
The contract extension has secured the services of a talented midfielder who has undoubtedly become a linchpin in Elfsborg’s squad, further strengthening their ambitions for success in the future.
