Manchester United, one of the Premier League’s top clubs, is once again showing interest in Ghanaian defender Jeremie Frimpong as the summer transfer window approaches.
The 23-year-old, who was born in the Netherlands, has been catching the eye with his impressive performances for Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga. Frimpong has scored eight goals and provided 10 assists in 27 games across competitions for Leverkusen, who are currently vying for the Bundesliga title.
His outstanding form has attracted the attention of several clubs, all vying to sign him in the summer transfer window. Frimpong is currently one of the top performers in the German top-tier league.
Reports indicate that Manchester United has identified four key signings for the upcoming transfer window, with Frimpong being one of their targets. The club had previously shown interest in the enterprising right-back ahead of the 2023 summer window, but a move did not come to fruition at that time.
