German-born Ghanaian defender Leroy Kwadwo found the back of the net in 1860 München’s recent 1-1 stalemate against Sandhausen in the German third division.
Prior to the clash, 1860 München had 3 wins, Sandhausen had 5 wins, and they had drawn 3 times in their head-to-head record.
Kwadwo, who started the game at the Städtisches Stadion an der Grünwalder Straße, played the entire 90 minutes of the match.
The Lions had an early chance to score when Eroll Zejnullahu delivered a left cross to Fynn Lakenmacher, whose shot from 16 meters was blocked for a corner in the second minute.
After the initial intensity, the game calmed down a bit with fewer opportunities outside the box.
In the 20th minute, Sandhausen took the lead when Alexander Mühling played Luca-Milan Zander on the half-right, and Zander’s cross to Richard Meier allowed him to head the ball into the far corner from seven meters.
However, Leroy Kwadwo equalized for 1860 München in the 68th minute with a right-footed shot from the center of the box, assisted by Fynn-Luca Lakenmacher.
So far this season, the 27-year-old defender has made 18 league appearances and scored two goals.
