Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew is in the running for the Goal of the Month Award in the English Premier League for his outstanding goal against Everton.
Ayew’s goal came during Crystal Palace’s match against Everton, which ended in a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park. The goal showcased Ayew’s skill and accuracy as he received a pass from Jean-Philippe Mateta and fired a powerful shot into the right side of the net.
This goal marked Ayew’s return to form after representing Ghana at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire. He continued to impress in February by scoring a goal and providing an assist in Crystal Palace’s 3-1 win over Burnley.
His performances throughout the month have earned him a nomination for the Goal of the Month Award, alongside teammate Jefferson Lerma, who scored a fantastic goal against Chelsea.
