Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu has assured supporters of AS Monaco that there is more to come from him.
During a press conference leading up to Monaco’s upcoming match against Le Havre, the Black Stars center-back stated that he is currently only performing at 60% of his potential.
Salisu expressed that he is working diligently in training to return to his peak form in order to contribute to AS Monaco’s success.
“In the dressing room, almost everyone is nice, so it’s easy for me to adapt quickly even though I didn’t play. I can do much better. This is like 60% of my performance. I’m not really at a high level now, but I’m trying. I’m working every day to reach a good level,” Mohammed Salisu explained.
Mohammed Salisu is set to be in the starting lineup for AS Monaco on Sunday as they face Le Havre in the French Ligue 1.
