Real Tamale United (RTU) put up a spirited performance on Monday afternoon to secure a valuable point in their game against Bofoakwa Tano in the Ghana Premier League.
The match was a closely contested one, with RTU managing to score a crucial goal in injury time of the second half to avoid a narrow loss.
Coming off a heavy 3-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak in their previous fixture, RTU was keen on bouncing back in today’s Week 19 clash of the Ghana Premier League.
Despite their determination to claim a victory, the hosts struggled to find their rhythm at the start of the game.
Bofoakwa Tano put up a strong showing in the first half and took the lead through a goal from Saaka Dauda.
However, RTU displayed commendable resilience after the break and managed to salvage a draw thanks to a late equalizer from Musah Alhassan in the 93rd minute.
