Dr. Gifty Oware-Mensah has been appointed as the chairperson for the Black Queens Management Committee by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council.
She will lead a committee of five members, with Alhaji Salifu Zida serving as the deputy chair.
Dr. Gifty Oware-Mensah, an Executive Council Member and owner of Women’s Premier League side Berry Ladies, brings a wealth of experience to the role. She was recently elected to the Executive Council, representing women’s football in Ghana.
Aside from her role in football, Dr. Gifty Oware-Mensah also serves as the Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Scheme. Alhaji Salifu Zida, Chairman of the Upper East Regional Football Association, will serve as the Vice Chairman of the Committee.
The other members of the committee are ASP Naomi Abdulai, Rose Osei Bonsu, and Nana Fosu Gyeabour II.
