Ghanaian international and Black Stars attacker, Inaki Williams showcased his skill on Monday night as he scored a well-taken strike to help his team, Athletic Club, secure a 3-2 victory in the Spanish La Liga.
The talented forward was featured in the starting lineup for Athletic Club in their Week 25 match of the league campaign.
The game, which took place at Estadio San Mames, saw Athletic Bilbao take an early lead in the first half with a powerful effort from Alex Berenguer in the second minute.
Despite Girona dominating possession after conceding the goal, they were unable to find an equalizer before the first half came to an end.
In the second half, Inaki Williams added to the scoreline, making it 3-1 for Athletic Club after Alex Berenguer scored his second goal of the night.
Despite late goals from Vijtor Tsygankov and Eric Garcia, Girona was unable to complete a comeback and ultimately suffered a 3-2 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.
With his goal in the match, Inaki Williams has now tallied ten goals and three assists in 23 appearances in the Spanish La Liga.
