Young Ghanaian midfielder Ibrahim Osman’s move to Premier League club West Ham United has hit a setback, according to reports from Footballghana.com.
Osman, 19, was on the verge of joining the London-based club following an agreement with Danish top-flight side FC Nordsjaelland last week.
The transfer fee was believed to be around 18 million euros.
However, Danish publication BT has revealed that the deal has fallen through due to his agent, Mitch Bakkovens, demanding a higher commission fee.
Osman has had a successful season, making 29 appearances across various competitions, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
With the failed move to the Premier League, it is expected that Osman will continue to play for Nordsjaelland in the Danish league.
