Ghanaian striker Kevin Luckassen, who was born in the Netherlands, put on an incredible performance to help UTA Arad claim a win over Universitatea Cluj in the top division of Romanian football.
Luckassen played for 83 minutes as his team secured a 3-1 victory over their opponents in the 24th week of the league.
The 30-year-old forward from Ghana scored a goal to contribute to his team’s win at the Cluj Arena on Sunday afternoon.
UTA Arad opened the scoring just 13 minutes into the game through Eric Johana Omondi, before Luckassen doubled the lead for his team in the 36th minute after receiving a pass from Omondi.
Romania international Daniel Popa scored one goal for the host team before halftime.
After the break, Andrej Fabry scored another goal to seal the victory for UTA Arad, with an assist from Eric Johana Omondi, his second of the game.
So far this season, Luckassen has scored three goals and provided one assist in 11 games.
