SV Darmstadt 98’s much-anticipated reunion with Ghanaian striker Braydon Manu has been put on hold due to a delay in his return to full-team training. Initially expected to start training this week, Manu’s comeback has been postponed for a few days as a result of a lingering ankle injury.

Despite being out of action for the past three months, Manu’s recovery has been progressing well, raising hopes for his imminent return to the pitch.

Coach Torsten Lieberknecht explained that the training will hopefully resume next week, just before the game against VfB Stuttgart.

Last week Thursday, Manu demonstrated his determination by returning to the pitch for individual training. According to the Lilienblog, his commitment to his recovery journey has not only reignited hope among fans but has also highlighted the effectiveness of traditional therapeutic methods.

There was uncertainty about whether Manu would need surgery, which cast a shadow over his return. However, his rapid progress in individual training suggests that the therapies used have been effective, challenging initial doubts about the conventional approach.

Manu has made two appearances in the league this season, and fans are eagerly anticipating his return to action.
