Ghanaian striker, Braydon Manu, is on the verge of making a comeback after being sidelined for over three months due to an ankle injury. The 26-year-old is expected to rejoin the squad for training soon, which will mark a significant step in his recovery process.
Head coach Torsten Lieberknecht revealed, “According to the medical department, it looks like he will start full team training next week,” during the press conference ahead of the upcoming match.
However, SV Darmstadt 98 is aware that it may take some time for Manu to regain his form and fully integrate back into the Bundesliga squad after his extended absence.
Manu recently resumed individual training last week Thursday, showcasing his determination to get back on the field. His commitment to the recovery process has not only reignited hope among fans but also highlighted the effectiveness of traditional therapeutic methods.
The uncertainty surrounding the need for surgery had raised doubts about Manu’s return, but his swift progress in individual training suggests the conventional therapies used have been successful. The striker has appeared in two league matches this season.
