Ghanaian footballer Rahim Ibrahim demonstrated his skill on the field during AS Trencin’s challenging match against Dukla Banska Bystrica.
The game took place at the Narodny Atleticky Stadion, where Ibrahim played the entire match and made a lasting impression with his performance.
From the beginning, AS Trencin showed their dominance, controlling possession and patiently looking for opportunities in the face of the opposition’s strong defense.
The breakthrough for Trencin came early on, with Kmeť delivering a precise cross from the right flank, but Hollé narrowly missed the chance to score.
Despite relentless pressure from Trencin, it was Dukla Banska Bystrica who initially threatened to take the lead, with Bondarenko missing a clear chance from close range, followed by Soares hitting the left post moments later.
However, Dukla Banska Bystrica’s persistence paid off in the second half, with Robert Polievka breaking the deadlock in the 58th minute after a well-executed cross from Veselovský.
Yet, the lead was short-lived as AS Trencin quickly responded, equalizing the scoreline in the 70th minute. Rahim Ibrahim played a crucial role in this turnaround, providing the assist to Artur Gajdoš, whose shot found the back of the net with the aid of the left post, leveling the score at 1-1.
So far this season, Rahim Ibrahim has played 18 games, scored four goals, and assisted two in the Slovakia Super Liga.
