Young Ghanaian midfielder Kelvin Ofori proved his worth as he scored for Spartak Trnava in their Slovakian Cup victory over FC Kosice on Saturday.
Ofori came through for his team as they secured a 3-2 away win in the Round 16 of the Cup competition.
The talented midfielder made sure to leave his mark by finding the back of the net in the highly-anticipated match.
After the host opened the scoring through Zan Medved just seven minutes into the game, Ofori responded with a goal for Spartak Trnava just a minute later.
Although FC Kosice extended their lead through Oleksandr Golikov in the 24th minute, Spartak Trnava put up an impressive performance to turn the game around.
Martin Sulek and Filip Bainovic scored in the 85th and 90th minutes to secure the victory for Spartak Trnava.
With this latest goal, the 22-year-old Ghanaian midfielder has now notched up a total of eight goals and four assists in 34 games across various competitions.
