Levski Sofia, the Bulgarian powerhouse, has secured the signing of 30-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Carlos Ohene in the current transfer window. Ohene joins the club from fellow Bulgarian team Hebar Pazardzhik on an 18-month contract, just in time for the league to resume in February.
His addition to the team is expected to have a significant impact as Levski Sofia aims to finish the season on a high note.
Ohene has wasted no time in joining his new teammates in Belek to continue preparations for the upcoming league matches. He even had the opportunity to watch his side’s friendly against Bosnian club FC Tuzla City.
With a wealth of experience in Eastern Europe, Ohene has previously played for clubs such as Aiki Larnaca and AEL Limassol in Cyprus, as well as Beroe, CSKA 1948, and Tsarsko Selo in Bulgaria.
Notably, he is only the second player in the 110-year history of Levski Sofia to make the move from Heber, and he will proudly wear the number 8 jersey for the club.
