Ghanaian footballer Myron Boadu, who was born in the Netherlands, made an impressive debut for FC Twente, helping them secure a victory against RKC Waalwijk. Boadu, who recently joined the Dutch Eredivisie team during the winter transfer window, scored a goal and made a significant impact on the team as a substitute player.
Playing at the De Grolsch Veste, FC Twente opened the scoring through Ricky van Wolfswinkel and went into the halftime break with the lead. Boadu then doubled the lead for Twente in the 79th minute after being set up by Youri Regeer. Shortly before full time, Younes Taha scored the final goal to secure victory for the team.
The 23-year-old forward joined FC Twente on loan from AS Monaco, where he had struggled for playing time and only managed to score one goal in nine appearances during the first half of the season.
Boadu’s standout performance on his debut for FC Twente has raised hopes for the remainder of the season and has demonstrated his potential to make a significant impact for his new team.
