Ghanaian-born footballer Kelvin Yeboah had an impressive debut for Standard Liege on Saturday as he scored in their 2-2 draw against RWD Molenbeek in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League.
Yeboah, who recently joined the Belgian club on a six-month loan deal from Genoa CFC, came on as a substitute in the 84th minute and made an immediate impact by scoring the crucial equalizer for his team.
The 23-year-old striker started his career in Italy, playing for various youth teams before joining Montpellier on loan in 2023.
Despite his loan spell being cut short after six months, he has now found a new opportunity to showcase his talent at Standard Liege.
Although Yeboah has played for the Italy U21 national youth team, he is still eligible to represent Ghana at the international level.
With his contract at Genoa CFC running until June 30, 2026, there is ample time for him to establish himself as a key player for both club and country.
