France-born Ghanaian forward Grejohn Kyei came off the bench to help Clermont Foot secure a draw against Brest in the French Ligue 1.

The 27-year-old was subbed in the 66th minute, replacing Shamar Nicholson. Kyei made an impact by scoring the equalizer for his team on Sunday.

The first half of the game ended in a goalless draw at the Stade Gabriel-Montpied.

Brest took the lead five minutes into the second half through Pierre Lees-Melou after connecting from Bradley Locko’s pass.

However, Kyei ensured that his team didn’t suffer a defeat on home turf, scoring in the 69th minute for Clermont Foot.

The Ghanaian attacker has scored just one goal in 16 appearances across competitions in the ongoing campaign.
