Ghana’s Abdul Fatawu Issahaku played a crucial role for Leicester City as the team secured a victory against Sheffield Wednesday in the English Championship on Tuesday night.
The young and talented player was a starter for his team in the Round 32 encounter of the ongoing campaign.
Issahaku made an impact just four minutes into the first half when he scored a close-range equalizer, assisted by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Later in the first half, Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy doubled the lead with a goal in the 36th minute.
Despite a strong performance from Sheffield Wednesday in the second half, they were unable to score, ultimately losing 2-0 at the end of the 90 minutes.
Following his goal in this match, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku now has three goals and nine assists in 26 games for Leicester City in the English Championship.
