The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has shown its support for former Black Stars goalkeeper Ali Jarrah by extending a helping hand to his goalkeepers academy.

The support, which includes footballs and a cash donation, is a small contribution from the association to motivate Ali Jarrah in his venture.

GFA General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo stated, “This is our small contribution to you and we feel it will help urge you to do more. We know a great deal of effort has gone into putting this academy together so giving you a token of support is a step in the right direction.”

Ali Jarrah, who previously played for Accra Hearts of Oak and the Black Starlets, was regarded as the best in his days before he got paralyzed in September 1993. Despite this setback, he now runs an academy focused on training goalkeepers in his bid to give back to society.

The Ghana Football Association’s assistance is a testament to their support for former players and their efforts to develop the next generation of football talent.

Ali Jarrah’s dedication to coaching young goalkeepers is a shining example of the impact that former players can have on the sport, and the GFA’s support will undoubtedly help him continue to make a positive difference in the football community.
