Fatawu Issahaku grabs assist in Leicester City’s win against Stoke City

Ghanaian footballer Fatawu Issahaku made a strong return from suspension, helping his team Leicester City secure a victory against Stoke City in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

The 19-year-old player was previously suspended after being sent off in Leicester City’s match against Coventry on 13th January 2024.

Patson Daka and Jamie Vardy each scored twice, with Daka also converting a penalty, leading the Foxes to a convincing victory.

Zambian international Patson Daka opened the scoring with an assist from Fatawu Issahaku, and Kasey McAteer doubled the visitors’ lead just before halftime.

Following halftime, Leicester City was awarded their first penalty of the afternoon, which Daka used to score his second goal, marking his ninth goal in the last eight games.

Jamie Vardy came off the bench in the 70th minute to further solidify the team’s win.
