The EFA is counting on the Pharaohs’ skipper to join the national team squad for the upcoming March international break.

El-Komy stated, “The Egyptian national team, under the leadership of Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan, has not been able to communicate with Mohamed Salah yet.

He went on to say, “There has been no meeting between Hossam Hassan and Mohamed Salah so far, nevertheless, there is no discord between the two parties.”

He further added, “The rapport between the Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi and Mohamed Salah is strong. Both the EFA and Salah have agreed to work together to address any issues concerning the national team.”

Despite the current communication challenge, EFA remains optimistic that Mohamed Salah will respond to the call-up and feature for Egypt in the Winsunited Cup.
