Coach Karim Zito of Dreams FC has commended striker John Antwi for his exceptional performance during the team’s CAF Confederations Cup journey.
Antwi joined the club just before the start of the African campaign and has quickly established himself as a key player in the current season.
The former Al Ahly and Pyramids forward has scored four goals and provided one assist in the Confederations Cup, contributing significantly to Dreams FC’s push towards qualification for the quarterfinals.
With 12 points, the Ghana FA Cup champions are leading the table and are on the verge of progressing to the next stage of the competition.
Reflecting on the team’s progress, Zito praised Antwi’s impact on the club’s performance in the Africa campaign.
“Having John Antwi with us, both on and off the field, has been immensely beneficial. He brings organization to the team and, to be honest, he has been a great help to me,” he stated.
Dreams FC will meet Rivers United in Nigeria for the final group match of the CAF Confederations Cup. A victory or draw in this crucial game will secure their spot in the quarterfinals.
