Crystal Palace captain Joel Ward has praised his teammate Jordan Ayew for his outstanding quality following Palace’s recent 3-1 victory over Burnley in the English Premier League.
As Ayew celebrated his 200th appearance for the London side, he made a significant impact on the pitch by not only scoring a goal but also setting up a goal for Chris Richards. This crucial contribution helped Palace secure an important win under their new manager, Oliver Glasner.
Ward was quick to acknowledge Ayew’s importance to the team, highlighting his consistent performance and dedication to the game.
“Jordan may not always receive the recognition he deserves, but his value to the team is unmatched,” Ward stated.
With 23 goals and 21 assists already to his name in his Palace career, Ayew has continued to impress this season with six goals and six assists in just 24 Premier League appearances. Despite missing some matches due to his involvement in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations with the Ghana national team, Ayew has maintained a high level of performance.
