Former Ghanaian football coach, Coach Opeele, has expressed his disapproval of Data Bank CEO, Kwame Acheampong, for accepting the job to search for a new coach for the Black Stars.
Coach Opeele, who is known for his outspoken nature, took to his social media to address his concerns about Acheampong’s involvement in the search for a new coach for the national team.
According to Coach Opeele, Acheampong’s lack of expertise in football makes him unsuitable for the role of finding a new coach for the Black Stars.
The former coach urged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to reconsider its decision to involve Acheampong in the search process and instead, opt for someone with a background in football.
Coach Opeele’s comments have sparked a debate among football fans in Ghana, with some supporting his stance and others defending Acheampong’s involvement in the search process.
It remains to be seen how the GFA will respond to Coach Opeele’s comments and whether it will reconsider Acheampong’s role in the search for a new coach for the Black Stars.
