Black Queens midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe expresses disappointment over team’s elimination from 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers after draw with Zambia.
After a 1-0 defeat in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium, the Senior women’s national team played to a 3-3 draw in Ndola on Wednesday evening, allowing the Copper Queens to advance to the final round of qualifiers with a 4-3 aggregate score.
“Last night’s result will be difficult to accept. Our Olympic journey has come to an end. I want to thank Ghanaians and our fans worldwide for your incredible support,” Cudjoe shared on social media.
With their focus now shifting to the upcoming 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco later this year, the Black Queens will look to regroup and prepare for the tournament ahead.
