Black Queens forward Evelyn Badu declares ‘the future is bright’ despite Olympic Games setback

Black Queens forward, Evelyn Badu believes there are positive things on the horizon for the team.

Badu, known for her skill and talent, was part of the Black Queens squad that recently faced off against the Copper Queens of Zambia in the 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers in Paris, France. The match ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Unfortunately, the Black Queens have been knocked out of the qualifiers as Zambia advanced to the final round with a 4-3 aggregate victory.

In a heartfelt post-match message on social media, Evelyn Badu expressed her gratitude to the Ghanaian fans for their unwavering support and remained optimistic about the team’s future.

“The future looks promising. Thank you for the incredible support,” Evelyn Badu stated in her post.

The Black Queens are scheduled to return to Ghana from Zambia on Thursday before heading back to their respective clubs.
