Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum promises to fight for Ghana Premier League title after FA Cup exit

Asante Kotoko Coach Vows to Fight for Ghana Premier League Title
Following their exit from the FA Cup, Asante Kotoko coach Proper Narteh Ogum has revealed that the team is now fully focused on competing for the Ghana Premier League title.

The Porcupine Warriors were knocked out of the Cup competition after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Karela United in the Round of 16 stage on Monday. Goals from Solomon Aboagye and Giyas secured the win for Karela United, sending them through to the quarterfinals of the FA Cup.

In response to the disappointing defeat, Coach Ogum took responsibility for the team’s performance and acknowledged that they fell short of the high expectations of the fans. He expressed their dedication and commitment to coming back stronger and fighting for the Ghana Premier League title.

“We are sorry for the disappointment. We are dedicated and committed to come back and fight for the Ghana Premier League,” he wrote on social media.

The Ghana Premier League is set to resume on February 23, and Asante Kotoko will be looking to improve on their third place finish in the first half of the campaign. With a renewed focus and determination, the team is ready to push for the league title and make their fans proud.
