Al Ahly has made a significant move by securing the services of Ghanaian rising stars, Samuel Oppong and Reindorf Adom Sarbah, in a deal that will see them at the Egyptian club for the next four and a half seasons.
With Oppong coming from MSK Zilina and Sarbah from Cheetah FC, both players have diverse football backgrounds that have caught the attention of the African powerhouse. This signing is part of Al Ahly’s strategy to identify and develop talented players from the continent, not only for the first team but also as an investment for the future.
The move is in line with Al Ahly’s commitment to being at the forefront of football development in Africa. Both Oppong and Sarbah have impressed during their time in Al Ahly’s youth sector, showcasing their potential and commitment under the guidance of Captain Walid Suleiman and the technical director, Captain Badr Rajab.
