Despite setting their sights on winning the trophy at the African Games, the coach mentioned that there is no undue pressure on the team.

“When you have talented players in the team, there is no need to feel pressured, even though the game continues to evolve. I am not feeling any pressure going into this tournament. We will approach each game one step at a time.

“Preparations are going smoothly, and we are expecting a few players who are currently with the Black Queens and Ampem Darkoa Ladies to join us soon. The players in camp are working hard, and those who are away are keeping themselves fit through training. We are eager to have everyone back so we can build a strong team,” Coach Basigi stated.
