Ghanaian winger, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, is overjoyed after his remarkable goal sealed a spot for Leicester City in the FA Cup semifinals.
Issahaku’s stunning strike in extra time secured a 1-0 victory for Leicester against Bournemouth in a thrilling quarterfinal clash at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday night.
The talented player, who is currently on loan from Dreams FC to the English Championship side, shared his thoughts on the match outcome.
“I am absolutely thrilled and feeling amazing. I had been hoping to score a goal in the FA Cup, and I am delighted that it happened in such a spectacular manner,” he expressed.
“I wasn’t entirely taken aback by our victory as I had a positive vibe before the game.
“I have immense faith in my teammates and the coach, so this triumph doesn’t come as a complete surprise to me,” he remarked.
Issahaku, aged 19, has been delivering impressive performances for Leicester, netting four goals and contributing nine assists since his arrival.
