Tamale Vision Football Club is mourning the loss of one of its decorated players, Iddrisu Shaban, who tragically succumbed to injuries sustained from a fall. Shaban, known for his skill and dedication on the field, suffered a severe head injury and had been receiving critical care at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
According to a statement released by the club, “We are extremely saddened to announce the tragic death of Iddrisu Shaban, a much-loved player, member, and friend of the Vision family. Our hearts, minds and prayers go out to his Dad, his Mom and all of the family and friends whose worlds have been turned upside down by their loss.”
Just days before his untimely demise, the talented young player had showcased his abilities on the field and notably contributed to his team’s victory against Tamale Dreams FC with an assist and a standout performance.
