Australian motorcross star, Jayden Archer died at the age of 27 while attempting a dangerous trick.
He had gained recognition after performing the very first motocross triple backflip in a competition.
The tragedy happened during a training session in Melbourne, when Archer was trying to master a quadruple backflip stunt.
The Nitro Circus, an actions sports group, expressed in a tribute that Archer was a passionate, hardworking and determined person.
They described him as a great human being, and commended his unparalleled zeal and extraordinary dedication to his craft.
The group also marked his flamboyant history during a daredevil competition in 2022.
His proposal to his girlfriend after successfully performing a triple backflip, amidst the cheers of the crowd, was special to him and to all of his fans.
Initial evidence revealed that two motorbike riders had landed a triple backflip in the past, but not in a contest.
Darlene King also posted her sympathies on Instragram, which was followed by an emotional account from Travis Pastrana, who praised Archer as a very positive role model.
