Buckingham Palace announced on Tuesday that Thomas Kingston, the husband of Lady Gabriella Windsor and ex-boyfriend of Pippa Middleton, has passed away at the age of 45 in Gloucestershire on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 6 p.m., and the cause of Kingston’s death is still unknown.
The financier and the editor, both aged 42, got married in 2019.
Lady Gabriella Windsor is the daughter of the Prince of Kent, who is the first cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth.
A statement from Buckingham Palace read, “It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Kingston, our beloved husband, son, and brother. Tom was an exceptional man who lit up the lives of all who knew him. His death has come as a great shock to the whole family, and we ask you to respect our privacy as we mourn his passing.”
