Renowned television personality Dave Myers, known for being one half of the Hairy Bikers duo, has passed away at the age of 66 after a two-year battle with cancer.
His co-star Si King confirmed the news on social media, revealing that Myers peacefully passed away at home surrounded by loved ones.
The Hairy Bikers rose to fame two decades ago with their show “The Hairy Bikers’ Cookbook” on the BBC, captivating audiences with their shared love of cooking and motorcycles. Their infectious enthusiasm for food and people led them to host various cookery and travel programs, including “The Hairy Bikers’ Food Tour of Britain.” Myers also showcased his dancing skills on season eleven of the popular BBC show “Strictly Come Dancing.”
