Beloved actor Buddy Duress passes away at the age of 38.
His brother Christopher and friend Jay Karales confirmed the news of Buddy’s death to The U.S. Sun.
According to Christopher, Buddy, also known as Mike, passed away quietly in November 2023, just before Thanksgiving.
Jay paid tribute to the late actor on social media.
“This man was an absolute treasure. Buddy Duress was one of the most entertaining people I’ve ever met, and his stories were unrivaled,” he shared.
“I remember watching him in Good Time in 2017 and thinking, ‘That is what the future of acting needs to be. That guy,'” Jay reminisced.
“He brought a certain authenticity and charisma to the screen that you just don’t see anymore,” Jay reflected.
“It was a dream to have him in Mass State Lottery, and I feel privileged to have been his director and friend,” Jay added.
Buddy’s acting credits include Good Time with Robert Pattinson and PVT Chat with Julia Fox.
However, his career faced setbacks due to legal issues in the summer of 2019.
