Advent International Ltd has recently shown its commitment to corporate social responsibility by donating essential medical equipment and supplies to the Lordina Foundation. Led by Mrs. Ritu Dhar, the team from Advent International Ltd handed over items such as crank beds, delivery beds, wheelchairs, stretchers, monitors, machines, an autoclave, and examination gloves to Lordina Dramani Mahama, the Founder and President of the Lordina Foundation.
The Lordina Foundation, dedicated to improving the well-being of underprivileged women and children in Ghana, focuses on enhancing healthcare, education, and overall welfare. Over the years, the Foundation has supported various health facilities nationwide with critical medical supplies and equipment to enhance the quality of healthcare services offered.
One notable contribution by the Foundation was the construction and equipping of a new maternity and children’s ward, along with ancillary facilities, at the Bole District Hospital in July 2022. This initiative aimed to improve healthcare delivery to women and children in the Bole District.
The recent donation from Advent International Ltd is expected to significantly boost the Foundation’s efforts in equipping underprivileged healthcare facilities across the country. This generous gesture reflects Advent International’s commitment to making a positive impact on communities in need.
