In a recent speech, the Vice President and presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) outlined a promising vision for the future of Ghana if elected in 2025.

The Vice President also outlined a power sector reform agenda that aims to shift power generation from fossil fuel sources to renewables like wind and solar. This plan is expected to bring about cost savings, as well as job creation and forex earnings from electricity export.
