Ghanaians will ensure NDC stays in opposition forever – K.T. Hammond

Minister of Trade and Industry, Kobina Tahir Hammond, has boldly declared that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is likely to remain in opposition for an extended period of time.

He attributes this prediction to the party’s lack of innovative ideas and their tendency to obstruct any positive initiatives introduced by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) out of envy and ignorance.

During a media briefing following President Akufo-Addo’s State of the Nation Address, Mr. Hammond expressed his belief that the NDC is out of touch with the current aspirations of Ghanaians, further solidifying their fate in opposition.

Despite facing economic challenges, he remains optimistic about the nation’s path to recovery under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo and the NPP’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Hammond confidently stated, “Don’t fall for the propaganda of those guys in the NDC, don’t fall for their propaganda at all.”

He pointed out former President John Mahama’s sudden attendance at the State of the Nation Address, highlighting it as a move signaling the NDC’s desperation. He emphasized that Ghanaians will ensure that the NDC remains in opposition for the foreseeable future.

With a strong belief in the current government’s performance, Hammond expressed his conviction that the people of Ghana will rally behind Vice President Bawumia and support the NPP’s vision for the country.

Time will tell if his predictions hold true, but for now, the minister remains steadfast in his beliefs about the future of Ghana’s political landscape.
