Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Presidential Candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in preparation for the 2024 election has assembled a committee to work on the party’s manifesto.
The committee’s task includes a thorough review of the party’s manifestos from the 2016 and 2020 elections and engaging a wide range of stakeholders. These include sector ministers who will serve as advisors to create a forward-looking and pragmatic manifesto in line with the needs of the Ghanaian populace.
The Flagbearer emphasized the importance of collaboration and collective efforts in shaping a manifesto that reflects the aspirations and priorities of the people.
The party aims to deliver a transformative agenda that resonates with voters and sets the stage for success in the upcoming elections.
The Manifesto Committee is chaired by Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, with Kojo Oppong Nkrumah serving as the Vice Chairman and Evron Hughes as the Secretary.
The committee also includes manifesto coordinators and sub-committee chairs responsible for various sectors such as the economy, trade and industry, energy and petroleum, agriculture, and many others.
The NPP’s manifesto committee is well-rounded and has a diverse and experienced team in place to develop a comprehensive and impactful manifesto for the next general elections.
