First National Bank announces partnership with MTN MoMo

First National Bank Ghana has announced a strategic partnership with Mobile Money Limited to provide MoMo services across all channels.

The partnership is in line with the bank’s rebranded image and commitment to offering accessible, easy, and secure banking services to Ghanaians.

The MoMo services offered by First National Bank Ghana will enable customers to send and receive money, pay bills, purchase airtime, and access various financial services through their mobile devices. The service is user-friendly and comes with affordable fees.

Sylvia Inkoom, the Executive Director of First National Bank, emphasized the bank’s dedication to delivering innovative and convenient banking solutions to its customers through this partnership with Mobile Money Limited.

Customers of First National Bank Ghana will be able to access the MoMo service through various channels, including the Mobile Money App, branches, MTN MoMo agents, and the short code *170#. The service will be available at all First National Bank branches and Accredited Agency Plus Partner points nationwide.

Head of Retail Banking at First National Bank Ghana, Akweley Laryea, expressed excitement about the collaboration and highlighted the expanded range of payment options, making banking more accessible and convenient for customers.

Starting from February 5, 2024, the MoMo services will be accessible to all First National Bank customers and MTN MoMo merchants nationwide.
