Ghanaian music sensation Sista Afia has revealed a surprising fact about her music production process.
The singer, known for hits like Jeje, shared in an interview on Channel One TV’s The Chat that she personally records most of her songs before sending them to her producer for final touches.
Sista Afia disclosed that she has a home studio where she records the vocals for songs like Jeje, Conner Conner, and Whether.
She then sends the files to her producer for mastering. This hands-on approach to recording highlights a trend among artists who are taking more control over their sound and creative process.
Despite her ability to self-record, Sista Afia stated that she has no plans to become a full-time music producer. While she enjoys the flexibility of having her own recording space, she prefers to leave the technical aspects of production to the experts.
