Renowned Gospel musician, Nana Osei, popularly known as Nacee in the gospel music industry, stole the show at the unveiling ceremony of Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang as John Dramani Mahama’s running mate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The event, which took place at UPSA’s auditorium on April 24, 2024, attracted a large crowd of lively supporters. Nacee, dressed in a stunning all-black kaftan, delivered a mesmerizing performance of his hit song ‘Aseda.’ The audience was captivated as they sang along and cheered him on.
The event was graced by the presence of notable personalities like John Dumelo, the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, and media personality Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD). Political heavyweights including Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Fifi Kwetey, and John Mahama also showed their support.
In her address, Prof. Naana Jane expressed her commitment to leading the NDC to victory in the upcoming 2024 general elections and serving the nation diligently. As the election date of December 7, 2024, approaches, all eyes are now on Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to announce his running mate.
