Renowned gospel musician Joe Mettle recently shared the inspiration behind his latest song, “Kadosh,” in an interview with Daybreak Hitz host, Andy Dosty.
Joe Mettle revealed that the birth of his daughter played a significant role in shaping his music.
“The birth of my daughter sparked a divine inspiration in me,” Joe Mettle explained. He recalled a moment when the Holy Spirit spoke to him about his child’s purity, leading him to reflect on the purity of her soul compared to his.
This experience inspired him to write the song “Kadosh” even before he knew the meaning of the word, which he later discovered means “the Holiness of God.”
Adding a personal touch to the track, Joe Mettle shared that the original voice note of the song features his baby’s sounds. He also credited his wife for her valuable contribution to one of his songs, despite it not being released yet.
